It should come as no surprise to most of you that the comment that was allegedly made by an Intel executive that Apple was working with them on an iTablet is, in fact, not true. In fact, the statement itself appears to be something fabricated by the German version of ZDNet according to Apple Insider.

The small event, which was a presentation by Intel Germany chief Hannes Schwaderer was only witnessed by 40 or so people, but some of them had already come out before Intel made an official statement saying that they did not believe Schwaderer made this announcement.

It looks like someone at Germany’s ZDNet has some answering to do.

Once again, I loose faith in the Apple rumor community. Thanks ZDNet.

I’ve never believed in thes “Apple Tablet”, but I really think that there will be an iMac with the multi-touch technology.
