Reminder: Verizon iPhone pre-orders start February 3rd at 3AM EST

For those wanting to pre-order the Verizon iPhone 4, we have some news for you.

Mac Rumors received an email from Verizon that reveals some important pre-order information. While February 3rd — a full week before launch — was announced as the official pre-order date, it was unclear what time the ordering process opened and d how corporate users would be able to upgrade.

– Make sure you have your My Verizon self-serve account set-up online. Orders can only be placed through your my Verizon account. You can register/setup your account at… myaccount.verizonwireless.com

– On February 3rd at 3am EST, Verizon Wireless will allow our current customers to order upgrades or new lines to their accounts through your My Verizon online account (make sure you have registered before the 3rd).

The email delivered to MacRumors.

Also, Verizon is offering a trade-in discount for existing iPhone users wanting to make the switch from AT&T. If unlimited data isn’t enticing enough, trading in your old iPhone to ease the costs of new CDMA version might help.
