If you’re like me, when you first heard about Axiotron’s Modbook you couldn’t wait to try it out. Unfortunately, the project has been riddled with delays, and now, just two weeks before Macworld 2008, the product is finally ready to ship.
The only problem is that there is heavy speculation that the Macbook itself is going to receive a major upgrade at Macworld, so the Modbook machine may be out of date only 2 weeks after going live. Having said that – if you’re not concerned about enhanced specs, or a new design for the Macbook, and you really, really want a Mac tablet – you may want to go ahead and give the Modbook a go.
