Dassault Systemes has released a FREE beta of their new product CB Model Pro.
CBMP is an easy to use 3d modeling program that allows you to create professional quality 3d models that can be used in all major 3d animation programs.
I’m not a 3d modeler. In fact, I’ve never even attempted to use a program like this before, and I have to say that I like it. I at least had fun building the abomination of a thing that you see in the screenshots.
If you visit the Dassault site you can see some work that people with actual talent in this area were capable of doing, and you can download the free beta. After 15 days you’ll have to register to continue using the App, but it will continue to be free until the final version is released.
