Soft iPad Case Love

This one’s for you, Maurice.

IPad cases are everywhere it seems, but most of them tend to look like either man bags, purses, or both. This one seems to be more of a sleeve than anything else, but considering the price and the size, it looks like a win to me.

It’s called the Cusco iPad Sleeve, and it’s made by ColcaSac. What makes it cool is a few key features, including how it’s manufactured.

The Cusco is made from hand loomed, naturally grown cotton from Oaxaca Mexico. The villagers grow, harvest and hand loom the cotton as they have for generations–without pesticides.

But wait, there’s more.

–Solid protection from dents and scratches, which allows you to travel about without worrying for your iPad’s safety.

–A Velcro closure that is thinner and quieter than traditional Velcro. Velcro allows you to quickly load and unload your iPad.

–It will fit your iPad perfectly. This is probably more important than you think. A snug fit will make the sleeve + iPad much more comfortable to carry, and also looks much better.

–A functional pocket that keeps your adapter in place. Worried that it will fall out? It won’t.

Seems cool to me. Plus, it’s got that cool fuzzy look that I really like in a case. The kicker here though is the price, which in comparison to most of its competitors, ain’t too bad. $35 bones for the sleeve and it comes in a variety of colors. And if you don’t have an iPad, they have cases for the iPhone and MacBook as well.
