Power Manager 3.6 Released

power.jpgIf you’re looking to shave a few bucks off of that energy bill (and who isn’t?), then Power Manager just might be the software for you. Dssw announced today the release of version 3.6 of their power management software.

Power Manager works by automatically performing events such as starting up, shutting down, and putting your computer to sleep. Automating these tasks can help you to reduce your energy costs without the inconvenience of having to boot your computer every time you want to use it.

Events Available in Power Manager 3.6 include:

Start Up or Wake
Sleep
Switch to Login Window (Fast User Switch)
Log Out
Shut Down
Restart

The primary target audience for this software is business and education markets, but for 20 € ($26.60), this could even be useful for individuals with multiple Macs, or that just have a hard time remembering to shut the old girl down at night.

You can check out Power Manager here.
