OS X Quick Tip: Email an Entire Webpage!


Today’s Quick Tip comes from Neil.

You can send an entire webpage in Safari by pressing cmd+I – this will open a mail window with the entire page loaded inside the body of the message, with the title of the page in the subject line.

Perfect for sending your buddy at the office who’s Internet has restriced access those Star Wars Gaming news pages!

  1. thie quick tip will not work if you are using Entourage (or is there a work around to the restriction that Entourage does not support Safari)?!?!?!

  2. cmd-i uses the print version of the web page’s cascading style sheet if it exists so you won’t always get the same as you see on screen.

    Also cmd-shift-i opens a new email with a link to the page.

  3. when I hit CMD-i or Shift-cmd-i, the mail menubar comes up but I don’t get a new email with the page displayed or the URL.
