So I recorded Apple Gazette Daily today with no mic…just using the built-in mic on my Macbook Pro. It sounded good enough, and I thought everything was ready to go…it even exported as a m4a file…but that file will not play, import into iTunes or…ya know…work at all.
I think the problem may be Garage Band, and not the mic or iTunes. Has anyone had an experience with this?
Any suggestion?

You weren’t using Garage Band when you and I were talking for our FG podcast… Have you tried the mic on another computer?
