Nike’s Nike+ line is continuing to evolve, and the latest evolution doesn’t require an iPod at all. The 2.62 x 2.62-inch Nike+ SportBand device fits into a wrist band, then you can connect it to your Mac or PC to track your runs.

There is no word just yet on when the device will be released, but it has been approved by the FCC which, according to Engadget, broke the product during testing. So it might need a little refinement.
