New iPhone Apps for July 15, 2008


There is a constant stream of new iPhone applications being added to the iPhone App Store. At the rate they’re going its going to be very hard to keep up with new releases. So, in an effort to keep good apps from being swept under the proverbial rug, I’m going to try to keep up with everything that’s coming out…so here are the new releases in the App Store for Tuesday, July 15th, 2008.


Aria Touch – from the company website: Use your iPhone or iPod Touch as a standalone task management system or you can leverage Aria’s support for Mentat and FogBugz 6.0 to coordinate tasks with larger groups. The great thing about Aria is that it provides a simple, to-do list oriented interface but provides a very powerful team task management application under the hood.

BeatMaker – from the company website: BeatMaker introduces a new generation of mobile instruments and music creation software. Inspired by hardware beatboxes, loop samplers and software sequencers, it combines them to turn the iPod into a unique, inspirational software instrument. Using BeatMaker creative tools, you can compose, record, arrange, and tweak live your ideas into a complete song, ready to be shared with others.

Sun Compass – from the company website: Sun Compass is an iPhone / iPod Touch application.
Its main purpose is to help you find North using the position of the Sun or the Moon.

Price: $0.99


Vecka – From the application description: This handy little application does one thing, it will show you the current week number. That’s it. Enjoy!
Price: Free

  1. They should add a way for us to be able to keep up with what’s new in the app store. Do you know if they are working on anything?

  2. I agree – Apple should have some kind of Newsletter sub or RSS feed – They dont do it with movies or TV shows either – Im constantly spending hours in research to find out what is new!
