Late last week Apple Gazette reported that the new Unibody 17inch Macbook Pro had begun shipping. That was met with some skepticism.

Thanks to our good friend over at Stutsman Software, we now have a great set of unboxing pics which should put to rest any doubt that the new Macbook Pro is, indeed, shipping.

Enjoy…

  1. how about revamping that butt ugly keyboard plate. remove the keys completely and make it a touch type interface like blackberry storm clickable screen. but have each ‘key’ clickable. ie all seperate but slightly riased, like a moulded glass/plastic keyboard. plus add an oled behind them so you can customize it.

in the open space next to the trackpad — extend it, and make an oled widget touch pad which you can customise aswell !

  2. For the sky high price that we have to pay…. I am very disappointed! What is with all that space that they have in front of the keyboard. They could have used that much better and put there keys for typing in the numbers or something. That keyboard looks like it was borrowed from Asus EEPC Laptop or one of those netbooks. They keyboard looks just way to small! This laptop is just huge! If this is mobile device than Abrams Tank is mobile too!

  3. What’s with the full-size photos crammed into a web post? Sure glade I don’t have to pay your traffic bills, or read this on a mobile, or an older computer. There’s nearly 5MBs of data when there should only be 300KB at most.
