Over the next few weeks we could receiving some major updates from Apple for both the iPhone and Leopard. Apple has already released the first build of 10.5.1 to developers for testing. The 267Mb update features some major fixes for iCal, Mail, Firewall, Keychain and more. It is expected to be released to the public in the next few weeks.

It is also rumored that the iPhone will get a software update on Friday, to coincide with the UK launch of the product. While this update could merely be adding 02 related code to the iPhone, we remain hopeful that the update will include bug fixes for some of the major problems that have been present in the iPhone since the 1.1.1 update a few month ago.

UPDATE – Apple has confirmed that the iPhone 1.1.2 update will be coming tomorrow.
