Apple Gazette Giveaway: Two 30GB SugarSync Accounts For Your New iPad

Apple’s newest iPad goes on sale today and what better way to celebrate its retail debut than a special giveaway exclusively for Apple Gazette readers?

To celebrate the iPad 2’s release, we’re giving away two 30 GB SugarSync accounts! SugarSync uses the cloud to sync and backup your important documents such as photos, music, videos between your iPad and computer. SugarSync integrates with Documents To Go, GoodReader, ReaddleDocs and QuickOffice to not only sync data, but also edit it on the go.

SugarSync solves the problem of being able to save data on your iPad and access it from other Applications. Being able to sync data to the cloud and locally on your iPad is great for those always on the go.

Rules

We will select two winners who will each receive a 30 GB / year SugarSync account valued at $49.99. One way to win is to leave a comment about how you would use SugarSync with your iPad:

I’m a student always on the go and being able to access my files from my Mac or iPad would help me avoid that “Oh c***!” moment when I realize my homework is on my home computer and not in the cloud

Or send this Tweet:

Follow @applegazette for a special giveaway of a 30 GB SugarSync account (worth $49.99) to two lucky followers!

We will choose the winners at random. Please include a valid email address for us to contact you (comment entries) and follow us on Twitter so you can be directly messaged (Twitter entries). The winners will receive a message with a code to redeem their SugarSync accounts. The contest ends March 11th, 11:59 PM PST.

Our contest has ended! Congratulations to Shile Oguntade and TIm King – they’re our lucky winners. Thank you for reading Apple Gazette and stay tuned for more giveaways.

  1. I’m getting an iPad 2, and I want to use SugarSync to keep my massive library of PDFs in sync between my desktop, my laptop, and the new iPad!

  2. I would use it to stream my music to my iPad so I don’t have to have it on the iPad so there is more room for APPS…yeah!!!

  3. I have a huge number of PDFs consisting of reference manuals, repair manuals, scholarly articles, even full-text books that I use (and mark-up) on a frequent basis. A SugarSync account would be perfect to allow me easy access to them and to keep them in-sync.

  4. I will try to sync all my GoogleDocs accounts to SugarSync to have
them in one place and browse them within SugarSync app 🙂
This is what I’m going to do with my google apps accounts.

  5. I am putting together a Family Tree dating back 6 generations and am gathering photo’s from everyone if current and past relatives. I am gong to their homes and scanning photos and gathering data. I would use the program to store this info and later share the completed project using SugarSync

  6. I want to be able to have music on the go for when I dj with my iPad and also to be able to have all of my sxsw photos for next week
