Sounds like the best advice I have gotten.

Thanks Michael!

I may jump up the the MBP and not worry about it. I like the looks and size of the MB but the extra screen real estate might be nice to have in the MBP.

@Outlaw

If you keep waiting, eventually, there will be a new Macbook. There always will be. What I think you should do is look at the Macbook that is available now...if it has the power to do what you want - then buy that bad boy.

If it doesn't, then hold off until the next upgrade, and see if that one has the power that you need.

As long as it has the power to do what you need it to do, it's a good buy. Even if a new one comes out the next day.

I want to order a Macbook. I am fine with getting Tiger and then paying the $9.99 for the upgrade to Leopard, but there are so many rumors of an upgraded MB coming in mid-November. What do you guys think?

@Michael

If you were one of the first ones to get credit you might need to reapply for it. Users who got it on the first day had some problems using it (I was one of them).

The iPhone credit is no different than an Apple gift card, so there's no reason you shouldn't have been able to use it.
