Apple Hits 10 Billion iTunes Downloads: I Plan My Shopping List

Well, you may not have heard, but iTunes just hit 10 billion songs downloaded. Actually, you probably did hear, because I mentioned it last week. You also know then that Apple is giving away a $10,000 iTunes gift card to anyone who’s bought a song from the service in the past few days. Of course I did, so I automatically assume that I’m going to win. That’s how I work, really. So I spent some time working out a list, but I didn’t get very far.

After 30 minutes of hunting, I came up with the list of movies and TV shows shown after the break. I really felt like I was splurging there for a bit, and I was sure that I was in the big money zone. Total? A little under $1500.

Then I figured that I would throw in iTunes Plus, since I never redeemed that back when it was first released. Throw another $110.10 to the mix.

Seriously? Holy crap would it take me a long time to reach $10gs.
