The iPad would be huge in the auto aftermarket if someone could come up with an industry standard for installation into vehicles. You would have everything at your fingertips: web, email, movies, YouTube, music, navigation, Google Maps, vertical apps for the auto market, etc. The possibilities are endless. And having a large screen would make usability much better than a small iPod Touch. Someone needs to get some sort of panel for iPad fitment underway so we can take advantage of this device in our cars/trucks. I think it could revolutionize the auto entertainment aftermarket.
