Twitterfon – The BEST Twitter App for iPhone and iPod touch

I’ve tried many of the iPhone Twitter Apps. Twitterlator, Twinkle, and of course, Twitterrific – and none of them have been the right Twitter client for me. Many of them are very flashy, and do much more than I want out of a Twitter App.

You may LOVE one of them – and that’s great – please tell us your favorite in the comments below this post.

For me, though, there is only one that has gotten in just right – and that’s TwitterFon.

TwitterFon is a very basic Twitter App that allows you to do almost everything you can do with Twitter.com in a nice, easy to use, native, mobile interface. It’s simple, clean, and it gets the job done.

The app loads quickly, updates quickly, and posts quickly – so I’m sure you’re seeing a general theme here…it does things quickly.

That’s all I want out of a Twitter client, and TwitterFon knocks it out of the park.

It’s also worth mentioning that TwitteFon is FREE – and there are no ads running in it, or anything like that. It’s well done, and free.

Who could ask for anything more?

  1. There is another App; called LaTwit, $ 2.99 in the App store, that everybody who listens to Leo Laporte
uses. I’ve heard great thing about this App.

  2. I used twinkle but I got tired of tapulous of not fixing bugs like the unknown server error, slow gui, sync errors and delays with twitter and the not working block functionality. I keep twinkle for the nearby community, but twitterfon is now my major twitter client.

  3. Personally I love Twinkle – the location awareness adds a new dimension to just browsing recent tweets. Although it has additional features like a world map view and an integrated mini-browser, it’s still at heart a very simple, polished and usable Twitter client.

  4. I agree with you completely. Twitterfon is certainly the best Twitter app and for all those reasons that you have so succinctly put in your article.

  5. Twitter iPhone app

Twit Pro is full-featured, super-fast Twitter client for iPhone & iPod-Touch with powerful functionality for directly posting messages, photos, videos from iPhone, handling multiple twitter accounts, aggregating the hottest stories on twitter, offline-mode, uploading videos/photos to facebook and much more..
