The iPhone 5C and 5S Keynote Comic Strip

We all love Apple and whatever it serves up – well, most of it anyway. We say haters will be haters, and Apple’s stock value seems to always go down after the company fails to meet the expectations of pundits and analysts. This time, it’s no different.

We’ve all seen and heard what both camps have to say about the new iPhones. We may even have dished out a joke or two, but in our heart of hearts, we know that we’re not buying a Samsung in the foreseeable future. Or is it just me?

If you’re up for a chuckle or two today, here’s a cute little comic strip on the recently held iPhone event. From Nokia to plastic to Chinese workers – the jibes may hurt Apple fanboys and girls, but if you can take a joke, you just might enjoy this.

  1. I’m always surprised by the hate that Apple engenders. I remember when the Mac first came out, and all the computer pundits and tech writes just piled on it. CLI is better, GUI is dumbed down kindergarten interface, and in fact makes you stupid, etc., etc.. Of course, all the while, these “serious people” were cheering on MS which was churning out copies of the Mac OS. Now that hate has continued on to the iPhone. Hate, hate, hate, while at the same time using the copy, copy, copy.

  2. The more negative reaction from haters there is to Apple’s new products, when they are unveiled, that more certain I feel that Apple has put its competition in the rear-view mirrors AGAIN.

The more innovations that Apple produces, the more the anti-Apple trolls come out from under their bridges and caves to say that Apple can’t innovate.

If you look back at reactions to previous Apple product introductions, you will see this to be the case historically. The first iPhone was ridiculed, as was every iPhone version since then.

All the while Apple’s iPhone sales numbers have been sky-rocketing. The anti-Apple trolls and Elmer FUDs go on about “market share”, not wanting to face up to the fact that Apple’s iPhone is taking the majority of profits worldwide.

Almost every other phone manufacturer is barely breaking even, and in many cases losing money selling mobile phones. The only one of Apple’s many competitors (Samsung) is making any significant profits, but those too are starting to fade.

So keep up the good work Apple. The louder the rants get, the better you know you are doing. ;-))

  3. I like the new phones, especially the 5s varieties. The tech improvements seem to be very smart. But Apple shouldn’t wait another year before it offers a larger, higher res screen. Apple’s a big enough company that they can offer a couple different screen sizes for those who care.
