Prynt Case: the iPhone Polaroid

Remember those cameras which allowed you to instantly print photos that you’ve just taken? Of course you do! Polaroids are still being made and sold today, but at a ‘nice’ price.

If you use your iPhone as your main camera, and you want something Polaroid-y, then you’ll want to have the Prynt Case. It can aptly be dubbed the iPhone Polaroid since it basically does the same thing: print your digital photos instantly.

How does it work?

Plug your phone into the case, take a selfie photo, and the photo will be printed out in seconds. More than that, with the use of augmented reality, your photos come to life on your iPhone screen as well.

You can also use the case to print out photos that are in your photo library, so you can also instantly print your over filtered touched up photos.

Essential features you might want to know:
Compatible with iOS and Android

  • Has its own battery
  • Available in white, pink, or blue (the choices, I don’t get)
  • No Wi-Fi needed
  • No Bluetooth needed
  • No ink needed

The Prynt Case is on Kickstarter right now, with 34 days to go. And, guess what? They’ve gotten $216,803 in funding – their original goal is $50,000. This means that there are few slots left, so you better hurry if you want a Prynt Case. I’m actually a little bummed that the affordable slots (at least for me) are all gone!

Am I the only one who thinks this case is cool, or do you want one, too?

  1. There looks to be a case in black, too! No photo of white case.

Sexist, traditional color choices– the old pink for girls, blue for boys nonsense!

By the way, are you sure that you didn’t read this on The Onion? 🙂
