Updates continue to pour into the App Store, but a few new applications have been included as well. Card games continue to be popular on the iPhone, as are list apps and Bibles. You can find a few of them in the enormous list below:

I have to say that I haven’t seen a killer app on the app store yet. I’m very curious if Apple have placed any limits on app functionalities.
Examples:
1. If Skype create an iphone client will apple make it available? Or would the mobile phone companies veto it?
2. Most mobile phone companies provide customers with free SMS texts via teir web site. I’ve always been convinced that they do this as a marketing exercise as no-one would bother using them. Will they make an iphone client to gain access to online sms messsaging?
3. If a developer created an engine to play AVI or DIX files on an iphone – would apple allow this to be made available via the app store.
Most apps in the app store are demoing what the iphone COULD do – not what we really want it to do.
A few things that the iphone needs:
1) Now we have MS Exchange support – why not Lotus Notes email support. Why only get half the market? Are Apple in bed with Microsoft on this one?
2) KEYBOARD: Caps lock, arrow keys left and right, a EURO symbol.
3) File Manager: If the iphone can handle office files and iWork files – why not have a file manager on the iphone so we can store the files on it and access them. Why only give access (ie download) them from email all the time? How do we edit them?
4) Now we have a big screen – AVI / DIVX support please!!!
5) A skype client would be incredible.
6) MMS would be an industry standard
7) Open Bluetooth was an industry standard 5 years ago.
8) A better camera that wasn’t so sensitive when taking photos. Let’s face it, the iphone is NOT a good camera. 5 megapixel is now standard.
I LOVE my iphone 3G but after a week I have started my ‘Whats Missing’ list and its growing.
Yeah, what’s with all the Bible apps. Is there a huge following?
