Jailbreak 1.1.1 – if you’re into that sort of thing, it’s available now

My stance on the iPhone hacking stuff is pretty clear. I don’t care for it. I’m not going to do it to my phone, so I can’t speak on how these things work in a real worl situation, but for those of you that DO care about this sort of stuff, it appears that the iPhone 1.1.1 software update has been jailbroken.

Everything is back and running just like we all knew it would be. One part in that is particularly important, however, is that this entire new work around revolves around a single TIFF exploit in Safari – which means you’ll be back to square one as soon as iPhone 1.1.2 hits.

Which – some speculate, could be as early as this month, when (and if) Leopard ships.
