My Iphone is not working. My video/pictures are horrible on iphone screen. and I got many dropped calls. Especially, I missed my very important appointment cuz a call did not reach to my iphone.

I’m going to return it even if I pay the penelty. I can’t stand this phone. Sorry Apple, but I have to get calls.

Jimmy: I imagine that the 3G network will be able to provide things like the interactive voicemail and all the data requirements of the iPhone. It’s also got extremely good Europe-wide coverage and very fast data rates.

I hope Vodafone get the contract – their contracts have always been reasonable, and their coverage is excellent. Their roaming has always been top-notch, too.

I can totally imagine what it’s like to spend $600 for a junked out phone…but I’m hoping Apple will fix it.

As for the plans, they’re actually not bad at all when compared to other phone plans…in fact, Blackberry or PDA Data plan users will actually SAVE money with these plans over the standard rates.

I just spent the past hour looking at post after post after post of people complaining about what a piece of crap the iPhone is. Image spending $600 for a shiny brick!! Looks like the good/bad experience is 50/50. Not good.

The main reason I was waiting for the 2nd generation was to see if there was a pay as you go plan. I’m not shelling out $60 a month for a cell phone. The plans are a rip. My wife also wanted one too. So we’d have to cough up $100 a month for a family plan. What a rip.

Be grateful for what you have in your hands, even if it’s broken and you know you’re going to get a replacement

In Europe, it’s iPhone frustration “Ã gogo”, we have to wait another couple of months (or even longer). And … there is no European carrier that is able to do what AT&T does for you guys in the USA. I’m kind of exiting to see what the launch of the iPhone will bring us in Europe, because it’s no secret that you are way ahead of us when it comes to service plans and data connectivity for mobile devices.

I gotta chuckle, especially after Jeremy here mentions lawsuit. Do you by chance, A) Live in Illinois and B) Happen to be an attorney? Calm down, boy, calm down!

If you didn’t get point A, let me enlighten you…I live in Illinois and we are well-known for suing at the drop of a hat. Most likely thanks to the nice folks up in the Chicago-area. At any rate, to sue over this is nonsense since you HAD to expect SOME glitches with a first generation device of this magnitude. Especially after all the hype…Brace yourself kids, there’s more to come!!

Well I successfully turned my 88 Nissan into an iPhone.
I stood in line for about 2 and a half house and I got my 8gig iphone.
Havnen’t really had a chance to play with it yet but so far I love it!

sorry to hear your already having trouble with yours but I’m sure it’ll work out.

I’ll post along with you, sharing my daily experiences.
