Apple addresses iPhone software issues with 2.0.1 update

Yesterday evening Apple released the iPhone 2.0.1 software update. If you haven’t grabbed it yet you can do so by connecting your iPhone to iTunes. The 249 MB file features “Bug Fixes” – which is normally pretty cryptic, but in the case of the iPhone 2.0 software, there have been some pretty obvious bugs.

For example. that 5 second lag that happens every time you click on your full contact list? Gone.

So far, after having the update installed for a few hours, I can say that the software update address many of the issues that I was having with my phone. So far it is much less crashy, and much faster and more responsive.

It’s a must have update – so go get it.
