App Store launch deadline set for July 7th

Table of Contents

Apple has announced that the deadline for developers to get their application in for the launch of the App Store is July 7th, 2008. That’s this coming Monday, so for those of you that almost have you applications finished, you may need to spend the holiday weekend scraping all the bugs out of your new application if you want it in the App Store by launch day…which is, of course, next Friday, July 11th.

Developers will need to have conducted their final testing using beta 8 of the iPhone 2.0 OS.
