Seriously dude, care to take your bias out of this article for one second? Google is a nice alternative to Apple, that's it. The Phones are cheaper, are available on all networks and offer a much more open platform. The Google Pad or whatever it is called will probably be much cheaper too. Sorry, not all of us have the money to dish out to be cool Apple Hipsters.

Fring has one major point: You cannot blame Google for hardware failures, that's exactly the same as saying "Windows made the latch on my laptop Battery break!" These companies are pursuing a wider audience than Apple can or will. Now, to those who say Apple is more because of the hardware: BS. Apple machine use much the same Hardware companies as standard Windows machines. Their mobos are outsourced to the same factories in Mexico and China, their vid-cards, screens, hard drives, disc drives, etc are all parts designed by the same companies. Apple maintains its exclusivity by denying people access which furthers the idea that their is something magical under their hoods: there really isn't. They jsut use the same parts over and over and over, thus allowing them to build to specific parts, versus the versatility and wider availability that Windows, Linux, Chrome, Droid, etc etc provides.

Don't be fooled by the Metallic glare from the sun, it isn't shining, it's trying to blind you: and it is clearly succeeding.

Well criticising Google for someone else's design fault is a bit off. Anyways, it won't fly until they have enough developer momentum going forward to make it a worthwhile purchase. It's coming, no doubt about it and it will sell to all those who see Apple as a threat but conveniently give Google a pass for doing much the same thing as Apple. Go figure.
They also only have to stay ahead of Microturd's promised Windows 7 platform to be successful. Apple meantime will make hay while everyone else scrambles around making sense of the resource hungry, battery hurting, traditional desktop os slab formula that has so far failed to ignite any sort of market.
I remember when the first iMacs were released - they sold boatloads and the iPad will be much the same imo.
