“Spore”, one of the most anticipated EA games in recent years, finally has a solid release date. EA announced yesterday that imaginative game will be released simultaneously on PC and Mac in September 2008. There will also be Nintendo DS and mobile versions of the game.
In Spore you create and evolve life, starting with simple unicellular creatures that eventually lead to full blown societies that can explore the universe.
I had a chance to play with the game’s creature creator feature at Macworld, and I really enjoyed it. I am very much looking forward to this game. It has been riddled with continuing delays, however. Lets hope they are a thing of the past.
