Apple issues update to Garageband 09

Apple has issued an update for GarageBand just a few days after the product was released. The 5.0.1 update is a 26.7 MB download available from your Software Update.
It offers stability improvements and fixes some issues with downloads from the “Learn to Play Lessons Store”.

If you purchased a Mac after January 6, 2009 that doesn’t include iLife ‘09 Apple has a new “up-to-date” program for you.
You can get iLife ‘09 for only $9.95 plus tax.

iPhoto books final come to Australia and New Zealand

Australian and New Zealand residents can finally order Photobooks, calendars, postcards, and prints directly from Apple. A feature that we’ve had in the states for over two years.

Thankfully, Apple has given in on the ridiculous ringtone limitations of the iPhone. In the latest update of Garageband Apple has added a new way to “share” what your created (or imported and chopped) music. Now you can make custom Ringtones, send them to iTunes and sync them to your iPhone.
