SEC not to file charges against Apple over stock options scandal

ex-CFO Fred Anderson has apparently settled his issues with the SEC over the back dating stock options scandal that Apple, Inc has found itself in recently. According to the Wall Street Journal Anderson agreed to a fine of about $150,000 and to repay option gains of about $3.5 million under the settlement but won’t admit

Apple managed to jump 38 spots on the Fortune 500 this year, from 159 up to 121, making it the 4th highest ranking company in its industry behind Dell (No. 34), IBM (No. 15), and HP (No. 14) according to MaCNN (I assume we’re talking about computer manufacturing here, and not software, or media devices.)
