Will the Apple Stores be getting a Makeover?

There is a rumor swimming around out in the Interwebs that Apple intends to re-design the layout of a number of its Apple Stores in the near future.

I don’t have a clue as to if there is any truth to this rumor, but if there is – I think it’s a good idea.

Much like Apple’s product line, the Apple Stores could use a refresh in look from time to time. Every Apple Store looks very similar, and I like the spartan, clean, looking of the spaces, but jazzing it up a bit wouldn’t be a bad thing, in my opinion.

What about you? Do you think the Apple Stores should get a refresh, or are you happy with them as they are?

  1. Personally I hate the mall. But walking toward the shiny, clean, neat Apple store is wonderful; like a piece of heaven in the middle of the slums of hell.
While I agree that they could change some focus of the store, “jazzing it up” runs the risk of cluttering the only neat thing in the mall.

But they are Apple, so if anyone is going to do something right it’s probably them. So I will view whatever they do or don’t do with a sense of pride for the only company that runs close to perfect. 🙂

  2. i like it the way it is. It stands out because it’s not cluttered like all other stores. People flock to it for something simple. It shows that mac is simple and easy to use.
