Big Day for Apple

May 30, 2007 by Michael 1 Comment

applelogo2000.jpgSo, today is actually a pretty huge day for Apple. In fact, it’s a pretty huge day for tech fans. From the Microsoft Surface announcement at midnight to the the release of DRM Free tracks on iTunes today…lots of cool stuff if happening.

What’s even more interesting is that today is the day that Jobs and Gates meet face to face a the “D” conference. On top of that, Steve Jobs will also have a solo presentation.

As you can imagine, rumors are starting to fly around that we may hear a special announcement today because of that.

We’ll be keeping an eye on things here, so don’t worry…if something big DOES go down, we’ll let you know. I don’t really expect much to happen, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the DRM Free tracks were released in iTunes today.  If I had to guess, I would say that THAT is the big announcement for the day, and that will be the focus of Job’s solo presentation…but I would be ecstatic to be wrong about that.

We’ll just have to wait and see…

The most I can see being announced is HD videos for iTunes, I really doubt anything significant will be mentioned/released. But hey, thats me Mr. Optimistic!
