Since October 2006 I have been blogging on Apple Gazette almost every week day. I have gone on vacation for a short trip or two with the family, but even from the hotel I found myself posting stuff on the site.
Next week, I’m going to try and take a full week off. Writing [...]

Apple rejects Opera Browser, not surprising, but still upsetting

Posted by: Michael on Oct 31, 2008 | 11 Comments

According to a New York Times profile, Opera Software has built a version of their mobile browser for the iPhone – but Apple won’t allow it in the App Store.

The document reveals a large list of changes, including some features that may be returning soon. There [...]

AT&T has FINALLY made Free Wi-Fi for iPhone’s available to users. Twice now the company has almost done this, then changed their minds for whatever reason. Now, however, AT&T is allowing iPhone users free access to its 17,000 Wi-Fi hot spots around the United States.

YouTube Find: Apple Lisa – 25 Years Later

Posted by: Michael on Oct 30, 2008 | No Comments

You may remember a couple of years ago I posted about an Apple Lisa demonstration video from 1984. (If not, you can find it here).
Well, the guy that did it — Alfred — posted a video back in August that is an almost 22 minute in-depth look at the Apple Lisa. [...]

Psystar continues to be a thorn in Apple’s side, and yesterday took a step further with that by announcing models of their “Hackintosh” machines with built-in Blu-ray drives, and NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT GPU.
The company continues to poke at Apple through its cage as they take the extra effort to slam Steve for his [...]
