Apple releases ProRes QuickTime Decoder 1.0 for Mac and Windows
Yesterday Apple released the ProRes Decoder tool for Quicktime. This tool will enable Quicktime to play Apple ProRes files, using a codec that provides “lossless, uncompressed HD video at SD data rates” for Final Cut users.
